The founding team of OPMET Labs builds on more than fifteen years of intensive research and development carried out at the TOPTEC research center (Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences). Within TOPTEC, the group was engaged in numerous demanding projects, particularly focused on the design and development of advanced optical systems for space applications. For those applications often special metrology setups or methods had to be developed. This unique know how combining expertise in interferometry, optomechanical design, digital modeling, and system integration – is caried in founders of OPMETLABS and thus forms the foundation of OPMET Labs. By transferring and expanding this knowledge, we were able to transform cutting-edge research into robust, high-performance solutions for both scientific and industrial applications.
